According to a statement from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce on Thursday, China and the US have utilized both multilateral and bilateral platforms to engage in communication at different levels. China has been particularly addressing the issue of US exploitation of export controls in the semiconductor industry, as well as expressing concern over the EU’s anti-dumping investigation into tires. The ministry also affirms that it will protect the lawful rights and interests of Chinese companies. As market risks have heightened, the Australian dollar has risen to 0.6450 against the US dollar, marking a 0.40% increase for the day.
